Guided by Passion, Grounded in Knowledge
Meet Jamie

Jamie is a cornerstone of Whistle Hill Farm, working alongside her sister Laura to help run the barn with heart, humor, and a whole lot of horse sense. A certified veterinary technician and an instructor of veterinary nursing at Harcum College, Jamie brings years of experience and a sharp, compassionate eye to the care of every horse on the farm. While she doesn’t serve as a practicing vet at the barn, her knowledge in equine health and well-being is a guiding force in the daily rhythm of Whistle Hill.
Beyond the barn, Jamie is also the creative mind behind the Muggles the Pony children’s book series—charming, lighthearted mysteries inspired by her real-life pony, Muggles. With two books already published and more on the way, Jamie brings the same joy and dedication to storytelling as she does to every horse she meets. Whether she’s helping with camp, supporting clients, or writing her next book, Jamie is known for her big heart, gentle spirit, and the kind of calm, steady presence that horses—and people—love to be around.

Meet Alex & Lynden
Bringing Heart and Help to the Barn

Alex & Lynden
What began as a simple camp experience quickly blossomed into something much deeper for Alex and her daughter Lynden. After joining one of Laura’s summer sessions, Lynden fell head over heels for the barn—and for a horse named Splash, who she now cares for with a devotion that’s hard to miss. From that moment on, Alex and Lynden weren’t just visitors at Whistle Hill Farm—they became family.

With experience from other barns and a genuine love for horses, the duo has become an integral part of day-to-day life. They help with feeding, mucking stalls, and keeping everything running smoothly—especially when Laura is away shipping horses. Reliable, kind, and endlessly generous with their time and energy, they bring joy, laughter, and a warm, welcoming spirit that both horses and humans gravitate toward. Whether it’s their gentle presence in the barn or their ability to make anyone feel at home, Alex and Lynden represent the heart of what makes Whistle Hill so special.
